Does it cost to use the landfill?

There is no charge for City of Billings residents for household trash and yard waste that is less than 1500 pounds. The tonnage fee at the landfill is $18.90 per ton for City of Billings residents. All contractors, Landlords, and commercial businesses, etc are charged at the landfill. Special charges will apply for refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, tires and other unusual items for all Landfill users. All out of City residents will be subject to a charge.
