Designing for Bicyclist Safety Webinar Series: This webinar series is being delivered by the UNC Highway Safety Research Center with support from the FHWA Office of Safety through a contract to provide training and technical assistance to the FHWA-designated Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Focus States and Cities.
The second and third parts of the webinar series will provide details about improving safety for bicyclists through roadway design strategies. Part two will share information about countermeasures and strategies to improve on-road bicycle facilities, and part three will explore design strategies to improve bicyclist safety at intersections.
