The City Planning Community Services Department is pleased to announce the first series of City Zoning Commission hearings starting on July 21, 2020 at 4:30 pm for each session in the Senior Center at 360 N 23rd Street. We will ensure the space is set up for maximum personal health and safety. These hearings will be a hybrid of live and in-person participation as well as virtual participation via Facebook Live on Community 7 TV and the Planning & Community Services Facebook page. There will be a call in phone number which will be published soon for public comment and space for up to 32 members of the public to attend the hearings in person.
The Zoning Commission and staff will be attending live at the public hearing venue with our consultants, Elizabeth Garvin and Leslie Olberholtzer, attending via Zoom. Our local member of the consultant team, Randy Hafer will join us live at the Senior Center. Our first set of hearings will cover City sections of the new Zoning Code as follows: - Tuesday July 21 - Proposed Draft Sections 27-300 & 27-1000 - New Neighborhood and Residential Zone Districts- Site Standards and General Uses
- Wednesday, July 22 - Proposed Draft Sections 27-300, 27-800 & 27-1000 - New Neighborhood and Residential Zone Districts-Special Uses--Accessory Dwelling Units, Short Term Rentals and Planned Neighborhood Developments
- Thursday, July 23 - Proposed Draft Sections 27-400, 27-500, 27-600 & 27-1000- New Commercial, Mixed Use, Industrial and Public Zone Districts – Site Standards and General Uses
