The Solid Waste Division provides commercial and residential garbage service for Billings. Residential service is billed on the water and/or sewer bill at a base rate of $10.71 per month per unit and/or barrel for weekly collection from regular residential areas. Collection Barrels
In the areas that have alleys, 300-gallon barrels are provided by the City and are shared by two to three households. All other households are provided with a 90-gallon barrel on wheels to push out for collection.
Billings Landfill
We also own the Billings Regional Landfill:
Hours are 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday - Saturday.
The Landfill is closed the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
