The City of Billings is currently in the process of amending its Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The five-year plan is for fiscal years 2013 to 2017. The City’s fiscal year (FY) for 2013 begins on July 1, 2012 and ends June 30, 2013. A capital improvement is any constructed improvement with a cost of $25,000 or greater and does not include vehicles, which are covered in a separate plan known as the Equipment Replacement Plan. City Council will discuss the draft CIP at their February 6, 2012 work session at City Hall. Council will hold a public hearing and will take action on the draft CIP at their March 12, 2012 regular meeting also at City Hall.
