Rimrock Road - 17th to Forsythia

Project Information

The Rimrock Road reconstruction project will improve Rimrock Road from approximately 17th Street West to Forsythia Boulevard. The project will be bid in multiple phases to allow for award of a smaller project should bids come in higher than anticipated. Improvements generally consist of street widening, installation of curb/gutter, sidewalk, drive approaches, streetlights, and replacement of the water main.

Drivers located within the project limits (inclusive of garbage, mail, and bus service) will continue to have access to individual homes; however, as the construction project progresses along the length of Rimrock, drivers may have to alter their typical routes to access their homes. The project will be closed to through traffic, and those drivers will be asked to stay on the main streets of Rehberg, Poly, and 17th.

The project is tentatively scheduled to begin in late May and last through mid-November. If you have questions or comments, please contact the City Engineer’s Office at 657-8231.
