The next regular Library Board meeting will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 12 noon, in the Library Administration Conference Area on the 4th floor of the Parmly Billings Library.
Meetings usually take place on the second Thursday of each month in the Parmly Billings Library's fourth floor Library Administration conference area.
The Parmly Billings Library operates as a joint city-county library, providing services to the residents of the City of Billings and Yellowstone County under an
Interlocal Agreement. An
amendment to the agreement was approved on April 23, 2013 changing the name of the library to "The Billings Public Library."
Structure
The Library Board consists of:
- Six City members who serve 4 year terms
- Three County members who serve six year terms
City members are appointed by the Billings City Council
County members are appointed by the Yellowstone County Commission
