This project widened Grand Avenue between 12th St. West and 17th St. West to provide a center left turn lane.

The street section was completely rebuilt using newer pavement technologies. The traffic signals at 13th St. West, 14th St. West and 15th St. West were also replaced.

Since project completion:
The construction contract was awarded to Empire Sand & Gravel Co., Inc. The total project cost was $1, 675,000.
