The 2006 Street Maintenance Program was divided into two contracts:
Contract #1 / City Chipseal - Contractor for this project was JTL Group. There were four areas where the
chipseal was focused. The areas are roughly described as follows:
- The Westend - bounded by Broadwater & Central and East of 24th Street West
- The Southside - bounded by King Avenue East & State Avenue and East of Billings Boulevard
- North of Rimrock Road - various locations between Glacier Drive and Yucca Drive
- Heights - around and near Skyview High School
Contract #2 / Overlay - The contracter for the Overlay was JTL Group, Inc. and started in September.
- 2005 Overlay (cont.) - Streets that remained to be overlayed from the 2005 Overlay were Lewis Avenue (16th St. West to Division), 8th St. West (Broadwater to Grand) and 5th St. West (Broadwater to Grand)
- 2006 Overlay - Streets overlayed included Monad Road, 19th Street West, 10th Avenue North & Belknap Avenue
